Sign Our Petition for Tractor Trailer Underride Guards
Help CR Legal Team in Our Effort To Help Prevent Thousands of Deaths
Side underride guards are metal bars intended to stop vehicles from going underneath a trailer in a crash. Other countries have mandated these side bars since the 1980s, but they are not currently required in the US. Federal law currently requires the rear guards that you see on the back of the trailer, but not the side guards. Several cities in the country have passed ordinances requiring the side guards. We would like your help as we call on cities to pass ordinances requiring the side underride guards.
