“I am guided by two Dean Smith quotes, ‘You should never be proud of doing the right thing. You should do the right thing.’ and ‘Good people are happy when something good happens to someone else.’. With these guiding principles in mind, the best part of each day is making a difference for others to improve their lives.”
Small town roots in Kenansville, North Carolina gave Russ an understanding of a wide array of people and lifestyles. For the last 15 years, his practice has focused on helping injured people throughout North Carolina. Prior to that, Russ represented different businesses, including insurance companies. That perspective and experience helped him better understand and anticipate defenses to his personal injury cases.
Russ received his Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was a member of the baseball team. He earned his Juris Doctor from the School of Law at Wake Forest University. His wife Bracey is a graduate from the University of South Carolina. Their twin boys are very active with travel baseball, football and basketball. They are all very involved with youth sports in the Charlotte, North Carolina area.
As a longtime coach in the Charlotte area, Russ understands that all teams function better when they have one, unselfish goal in mind. Russ brings that understanding to work with his colleagues here at CR Legal Team.
