At the North Carolina Advocates for Justice Annual Meeting, CR Legal TeamLitigation Attorney Elizabeth Ray Robertson graduated from the NCAJ NEXT Leadership Program. As an NCAJ member, she is one of the 21 members identified as North Carolina’s emerging trial lawyers. She is also one of the total 2,000 NCAJ attorney members who focus on the rights of plaintiffs’ attorneys and on criminal defense attorneys and their clients.
The NCAJ’s goals are to level the playing field for those unable to fight for themselves and champion their causes in the courts and the legislature. Elizabeth is additionally Standing Up for our community as the President of the Greensboro Bar Association Young Lawyers Section, the President-elect of the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys, the Treasurer of the Piedmont Triad Women Attorneys, and as a Board Member on the Elon University Alumni Board.
In her own words, Elizabeth states, “I am honored to be a “NEXT” Leadership Fellow for the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. This program allowed me to explore the core values that lay the foundation for the way I practice law and discover pivotal issues challenging leaders across the state. I leave this program with a renewed purpose and excitement to help my clients at CR Legal Teameach day.”
